Adam's First Vacation

After 9 long weeks outside the womb Adam felt it was necessary to take a little vacation to relax, rewind and enjoy life. It happened to coincide with his Aunt Meagan's wedding in Florida. He did really well on the 17 hour car ride and took his first dip in the ocean (well, Gulf of Mexico) and a pool, which he loved! That is until his dad accidently dipped his face under the water. Unfortunately I forgot to bring the camera to the wedding and seem to only have video of him meeting his extensive list of aunts and uncles and not pictures. Thanks to smoke from the wildfires in Florida and Georgia, we saw some spectacular sunsets, too. We're sure this won't be Adam's last road trip. I can't wait until he asks me to drive him up to Alaska!

Adam's Meet & Greet

Adam hosted his first party in April on the occasion of his baptism and as a way for friends and family to come out and meet him. His Uncle Bob and Aunt Meagan are his godparents. His Mimi made a great spread of food, hula hoops and croquet entertained many and fun was had by all. I forgot to bring the camera to the actual baptism so send me any you may have taken. He didn't even cry during the entire ceremony. I think that shows how good of a kid he really is. I think I heard the priest say he was the best baby since Baby Jesus. True story. Thanks to all who came out and partied hardy with Adam Henry.

Adam 10 Weeks-ish

It's been a while since we posted more pictures so here are some from 5-10 weeks. He's a real chunky monkey now, probably around 13.5 pounds and over 23 inches. There's a picture below showing how much belly fat I can pinch. He's still a good baby and his toothless smile is the cutest thing ever. If he slept more at night Martha would be a happier mom, but he's trying his best. He's starting to stand with help and he has really good control of his bobble head. Our little guy is growing up fast!
