Fun With Bearded Dad
Right before Adam's first birthday in March, Adam's dad decided to grow a beard. This lasted about 6 weeks and then it had to go. Instead of just shaving it in one stage i turned it into a father/son bonding moment which will now endure for all the ages. This may also be the final entry to the babyadamhenry blog because now that he's one he's no longer a baby. I would post pictures from his one year party but the camera batteries ran out so i had to rely on others to take pictures. So enjoy this last entry!

Adam's Holiday Special
I'm slow to post new blogs lately so you get to see Adam celebrate three holidays in one entry. What a deal!
First up was Halloween where he was forced into a pumpkin costume for our 10th annual pumpkin carving party.

Then as Tarzan and Jane's monkey for a Halloween party and brief trick-or-treating (not pictured).

A month later Adam took his second plane trip (he was the most popular passenger on the plane) to Florida for Thanksgiving with Mimi, Uncle Mike, Aunt Megan, and Uncle Keith. His favorite part of the trip was a quick trip to the beach where he combed through the sand for shells with his Mimi. He really loved the feeling of sand in his hands.

For A Very Adam Christams he went to the Zilker Trail of Lights, became Santa Jr. for Kai Gregg, and spent time with his cousins in Houston. He seemed to enjoy all of it and even received a visit from the real Santa (photo unavailable).

Adam Henry Goes to Michigan
Adam's adventures continued as he visited the Great White North in October for a true autumn. There were a few relatives that hadn't seen him yet plus we were getting sick of the heat so we flew to Chicago, met my parents and then drove to Michigan to visit my brothers and their families. On the way back we spent the day in Chicago. He's quite the traveler already at 7 months. On top of the that he grew two new teeth during the trip. What a champ!
His first plane ride was a lot of fun and he didn't even cry once, unlike a bad baby behind us. I blame the parents.

His first trip to our Chicago Meca, White Castle. Look at this boy's appetite!

Visiting with his godfather, Uncle Bob

Uncle Chris' strange baby-shaped hat.

Meeting his cousins Natalie...

Andrea...

Darci...

Nathan...

And aunts Debbie...

and Leslie...

The attack of a kitten named Cheeto

Fun at Lake Michigan. Can't you tell by his expression?

Adam even visited his first college to meet his oldest cousin, Marissa, at Michigan State, who just started there.

Watching the marching band practice. Adam loves music.

His Baby Gap photos. Look at this handsome kid!

One of the highlights was visiting his dad's favorie childhood memory, Robinette's Apple Orchard, for hot cider and doughnuts.

And a pose in front of the big apple. Don't try climbing on that thing or the old lady will yell at you.

Next was a visit to his dad's old neighborhood to:
Pose in front of his old house.

Play in the park with parents less mature than he is.

And feed the ducks at the pond.

Then it was time to wrestle dad for the world's biggest doughnut.

...his dad won!

One more cute pose then it was off to Chicago.

First to the Field Museum.

And finally a visit with Aunt Mary, Uncle Dick and Uncle Charlie.

Adam sure knows how to pack it in. He's wearing us out!
